Notes:	Ralph E. Dailey 93, of Huntington [Indiana] passed away at 12:40 p.m. on Friday Sept. 28, 2018 at the Heritage of Huntington. Mr. Dailey attended Columbia City High School and was a World War II veteran having served with the 5th Army in the North Africa and Italian campaigns. Ralph worked for Curtis Candy Breeding Company, Gulf Oil Corporation, and Gladeaux Trading & Marketing Company. He attended Zion United Methodist Church. Ralph was born on Dec. 1, 1924 a son of Alton E. and Hildreth M. (Smith) Dailey. His parents preceded him in death. Ralph was united in marriage to Phyllis Jean "Jeanie" Tschantz of South Whitley on Nov. 22, 1947 His wife survives. Additional survivors include a son: Terry L. Dailey of Huntington; a daughter: Rebecca J. Dailey of Indianapolis; two grandchildren: Aaron D. Dailey of Xenia, OH and Anne M. Dailey of Portland, Ore.; and four great grandchildren. At Mr. and Mrs. Dailey's request, no funeral service is planned at this time but a memorial service will be held at a later date.
