Andrew Allen Miller, 29, of Columbia City, died Friday, August 6, 2010 at his home.

He was born September 1, 1980 in Columbia City, Indiana a son of Kent and Dee Dee (Neidigh) Miller. His formative years were spent in Columbia City. He graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1999.

He was employed by the KAM Group, Columbia City, where he was the Secretary/Treasurer.

He had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. He loved animals especially his dog Max. Always encouraging others to succeed, he often treated his young school friends to pizzas when they had good report cards.

He leaves behind his father, Kent (Debra) Miller, Columbia City; mother, Dee Dee (Jerry) Gurrado, Columbia City; grandmothers, Virginia Miller and Shirley Neidigh; step-grandparents, Delbert & Genny Robinson and Dolores Gurrado; half-brothers, Taylor and Logan Bockelman; step-brothers, Bret and Toby Kiester; uncle, Bruce Miller and niece, MaKenna Miller.

He was preceded in death by his brother Michael "MJ" Miller; grandfathers, Charles Miller and Frank Neidigh and uncle Randolph "Randy" Miller

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with Rev. Barry Faucet officiating. The burial will be in Eel River Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to Andrew Miller Memorial Fund.
