Notes:	David Paul Watkins, 33, of Columbia City, died Friday morning, August 23, 2013 at the home of his father & step mother, where he had been staying. He was born January 19, 1980 in Fort Wayne, Indiana a son of David R. and Dee Ann (Spicher) Watkins. His formative years were spent in Columbia City. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1999. He was employed at Fred's Downtown Bar & Grill, Scott's Liquor and Wal Mart for 10 years before becoming disabled. Surviving relatives include two sons, Hendrix Allen Watkins and Jeremiah Lee Sexton; his father, David (Teresa) Watkins; his mother, Dee Ann (Paul Evard) Wright, all both of Columbia City; five siblings, Andrew Watkins of Columbia City, Amanda Watkins of Big Lake, Gregg (Brittany) Wright, Chris Bogner and Brenden Bogner, all of Columbia City; grandmothers, Dixie Vaughn of Columbia City, Mary Spicher of Milford and Bonnie Link of Columbia City; and special friends, Candi Herron and Kymm Thibert, both of Columbia City. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation after 12 Noon Monday. The burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery. Please direct memorials to the final expense account payable to Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
