2006 marks the beginning of my 20th year doing yearbook (since I started at 14.) I was 2002 Teacher of the year for Franklin Community School Corporation. 2006 marks the beginning of my 9th year at Franklin. I taught for 3 years at Evansville Reitz High School (the public one). I have served as president for the Indiana High School Press Association and as a regional director for the Journalism Education Association. I earned Master Journalism Educator status in 2005.

I spend as much time traveling as possible. I have 15 states left to hit in the union. My favorite place to be is the beach. My two favorite cities in the U.S are Phoeniz, AZ and Charleston, SC. I haven't made it to Savannah, GA yet, but I'm sure that will become a favorite.
