Notes:	Patricia A. Sample, 53, of Columbia City, died at 9:50 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at Parkview Hospital on Randallia in Fort Wayne. She was born October 13, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan a daughter of Chester A. and Mildred M. (Mitchell) Sample. In 1972 her family moved to Washington Township, Whitley County. She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1982. She worked at Magnavox and more recently Warsaw Chemicals for seven years. She was a faithful volunteer helping animals and homeless. Surviving relatives include a foster son, Kendrick Howard; companions, Kelly & Jimmy Bolenbaugh; and several nieces and nephews, Lucas Peters, Sara Kinney, Heather Pebley, Kimberly Chaney, Carl Sample, Osceola Sample and Christopher Sample. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister, Charles Sample and Sandra Peters. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation after 12 Noon. The burial will be at Nolt Cemetery. Memorials are to be directed to the final expense account payable to Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
