Notes:	Brenton E. “Brent” Archer, 65, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away at his home on March 21, 2022. Born in Columbia City, Indiana, on April 9, 1956, Brent was the son of Eugene B. and Hazel Jane Archer. While at Columbia City Joint High School, Brent was in Science Club and played clarinet in the band. In 1974 he graduated co-valedictorian and went on to attend Manchester College, where he earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Physics, Math, and Computer Science. After graduation he took a job with Manchester College in Systems Support. Brent worked at Manchester College/University for forty-four years during which time he became the Senior Systems Support Specialist. Brent was a brilliant individual who was caring and sweet to those lucky enough to know him. He was also a very private person who enjoyed the company of very few. Because Brent was shy, he spoke with meaningful words after deep thought. He delighted in walking around North Manchester observing various animals and places. In his younger years, Brent also enjoyed playing frisbee. The loving memory of Brenton E. Archer will be forever cherished by his friends, caretakers, and faculty and staff at Manchester College/University. A memorial gathering led by his friends and colleagues will take place April 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lahman Room in the Jo Young Switzer Center, Manchester University, 604 East College Avenue, North Manchester, Indiana.
