Rosalind J. "Rosie" Klingaman, 65, of Etna Troy Township, Whitley County, died at 2:17 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. She was born March 13, 1950 in Fort Wayne, Indiana a daughter of Tony L. and E. Louise (Hively) Gaff.

Her formative years were spent in Jefferson Township, Whitley County. She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School. She continued her education at St. Francis College in Art and later Purdue University pursuing a degree in Biology.

On February 10, 1973 she was united in marriage to Eugene D. Klingaman. They made their first home in West Lafayette. In 1974 they moved to Etna Troy Township, moving to their present home in 1977.

While living in West Lafayette, she was employed in the Entomology Department at Purdue University. Upon returning to Whitley County, she was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her four children.

She was a member of First Church of God and also attended New Life Church.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Gene; four children, Heather (Jason) Fest of Larwill, Jason (Mallika) Klingaman of Warsaw, Holly (Jeremy) Sorenson of Larwill and Jennica (Ben) Maggard of Larwill; nine grandchildren, Ahren, Eli, Wyatt & Judah Fest, Austin, Serena & Priya Klingaman and Everett & Graham Maggard; mother, Louise Gaff of Larwill; two brothers, Stan Gaff of Larwill and her twin, Ron Gaff of the Phillipines; and a sister of Jeanette Jordan of Columbia City.

She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters, Toni Elaine Norden and Linda Lou Gaff.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of God, 1200 West DePoy Drive, Columbia City with visitation after 9 a.m. The burial will be in the Keister Section of Scott Cemetery. Visitation will also be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.

Preferred memorials are to Campus Crusade for Christ #0017836 (for Ron & Jenny Gaff Mission).
