Notes:	It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Beverly Jean Bobiak of DeLand, Florida on March 30, 2023, at the age of 72. Bev was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on March 6, 1951. She graduated from Columbia City High School in Indiana and attended Ball State University. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Education from Kutztown University, and a Master of Education from Nova Southeastern University. Her esteemed career in education spanned forty years, including decades spent working with gifted children. Bev met Robert "Bob" Bobiak in Kutztown in 1972, and the two were married in 1973 in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. They welcomed a daughter, Megan (Bobiak) Meneses in 1978, before relocating to Deltona, Florida in 1982. Bev was a beloved wife, devoted mother and trusted friend. Following her retirement in 2012, she cherished time spent visiting family, going on cruises, and enjoying the charm of downtown DeLand. Second to her daughter, her greatest source of pride was becoming a grandmother, welcoming her first grandchild, Poppy Meneses in 2018. She is survived by her husband, Bob, daughter, Megan, one grandchild, Poppy, and son-in-law Lee Meneses of Winter Park, Florida; brother, Cecil Fleeman, Jr. and sister-in-law Sheila both of Freemont, Indiana; brother, Rick Fleeman of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews. Bev was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Martha Pauline Fleeman, and sister-in-law, Susan Annette Fleeman. A memorial to celebrate Bev's life will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 4:00-8:00pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida, 32763.
