Harold W. Wolfe, 67, of Columbia City, Ind., passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at his home. Born June 28, 1949 in Columbia City, he was the son of Arley and Velma (Vanderford) Wolfe.

He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1967. Following serving in the U.S. Navy, Harold did an apprenticeship for his journeyman toolmaker.

A lifetime farmer, he also work for over 30 years for Dana full time, retiring in the early 2000's and currently was working part-time with them. Later in life, he received his bachelor's degree in Business from Indiana Tech.

Harold was a member of the Chapel.

He loved his grandchildren dearly and enjoyed farming, being outdoors, cutting firewood, being on the water, playing tennis, watching hockey and rooting on the Blackhawks and Komets, rooting on the Chicago Bears and watching racing.

Survivors include his son, Kirby Wolfe, of Fort Wayne; daughter, Kelly (Jeremy) Kline, of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Mason Waggoner, Morgan Wolfe, Jacob Hosler, Zackary Hosler, Jordan Kline and Jackson Kline; and sisters, Susie (Bill) Busser, of Byron, Ill. and Carolyn Smith, of Columbia City. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Endersby officiating. Burial will follow at Stough Cemetery.
