MARY ANN WHITE, 73, of Columbia City, Ind., died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023. Mary Ann was born on March 5, 1949 in Fort Wayne.

She was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Church in Columbia City. She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School and went to work at Lincoln Life Insurance where she later retired. She then went to work in the Fabric Department at the Columbia City Walmart where she also retired.

Mary Ann was a renowned bowler who traveled the country competing and even bowled in the National Championships. Mary Ann also loved baseball, rooting primarily for the Chicago Cubs and Tampa Bay Rays.

Mary Ann is survived by her sisters, Marjorie (Dennis) Warnick and Carolyn (Jim) Hormann; nephew, Steven Warnick; niece, Jennifer Timms; nephew, Jeff Hormann; and four great nephews, Brendan, Isaac, Jeremiah, and Noah. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mildred White.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold St., with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Whitley County.
