Notes:	Roger L. Hill, 66, of Columbia City, died at 12:20 a.m. Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Bethlehem Woods Nursing, Fort Wayne where he had been a resident since June. He was born August 4, 1948 in Noble County, Indiana a son of Donald E. and Fay Esther (Osborn) Hill. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School. A United States Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, he retired from Dana Weatherhead with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Leatherneck Coffee Club. Surviving relatives include a son, Andrew L. Hill of Columbia City; a step daughter, Shawnta Wells of Indianapolis; a brother, James L. (Marie) Hill of Fort Wayne; and a sister, Nancy (Robin) Polt of Tucson AZ. The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation after 2 p.m. The burial will be held at a later date. Military honors will be presented by members of Whitley County Korean War Veterans Honor Guard. Preferred memorials are to the final expense account payable to Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
