Notes:	Billie Eilene Walker Kastan was born and raised in northern Indiana. She moved to San Francisco in 1969, a city she loved, where she met her husband Steve. They were married in 1979 and moved to Lake Tahoe. Nicole, Billie's daughter was born in 1985. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Billie enjoyed nature and animals, and was passionate about gardening and cooking. Her ashes will be spread off the coast of Maui. Published in Sierra Sun Bonanza covering North Lake Tahoe.
