Notes:	Lee A. Himes, 58, of South Whitley, died at his residence and was found late Tuesday evening, Sept. 6, 2005. Born on Jan. 20, 1947, in Fort Wayne, a son of Jacob A. and Mary Lucille (Aulton) Himes, he graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1965. He married Marcia Mabel Mishler on June 20, 1969 in South Whitley. A conductor for Amtrak Railroad for 40 years, his entire lifetime was spent in Whitley County, living in South Whitley since 1969. Survivors include his wife, Marcia; two sons, Travis (Amanda) Himes of Columbia City; and Wade S. Himes of Warsaw; five grandchildren; and a sister, Rose (Robert) Hunter of Columbia City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stan Himes. Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. The funeral service is at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Gregory officiating. Burial is at South Whitley Cemetery.
