Notes:	Jean L. Pumphrey Terry, 48, a former Columbia City resident. died Sunday, April 2, l995, at Glen Ellyn, Ill. She was born September 5, 1946, a daughter of Glen and Ethel Pumphrey in Fort Wayne. She spent her formative years in the Columbia City area and graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1964. In 1973, she moved from Columbia City to Normal, Ill. She later took up residence in Glen Ellyn, Ill., in 1989. She was a clerical secretary with Nordstom, Inc. Surviving relatives include one son, George P. Terry, Bloomington, Ill.; a daughter, Stacy J. Terry, Glen Ellyn, Ill., and her mother, Ethel Pumphrey, Columbia City. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Pumphrey. She held membership in Columbia City's Grace Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at the DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, Columbia City. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene Kinney of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at Hope Lutheran Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Obituary in Post & Mail April 3, 6 & 12, 1995, Pg 2.
