Notes:

Victor F. Clark passed away peacefully on October 7, 2023, at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, due to complications from pneumonia.

Victor was born on January 18, 1943, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and was raised in Jefferson Township and Columbia City. He graduated from Columbia City High School in 1961 and placed second in the U.S. debating competitions in his senior year of high school.

Victor's passion was history and politics, which led him to attend George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where he graduated in 1965 with a degree in medieval history. His most significant political career accomplishments were being George Washington University's student body president and working as Senator Vance Hartke's aide on Capitol Hill.

He leaves behind one daughter, Chrys Williams (Geoff), and three adored grandchildren. His father (Ralph Clark), mother (Elizabeth Clark), brother (George Clark), uncle (Harry Clark), and aunt (Esther Clark) preceded him in death.

In his final three years, Victor was fortunate to have the care and support of his aide, Kevin Swain. With Kevin's assistance, he could maintain his independence and live at home despite his numerous health challenges.

A funeral will occur later since he donated his body for medical science and research to the Humanity Gifts Registry. His remains will be buried with his family at the Jefferson Township Cemetery in Whitley County, Indiana.

Victor was an avid reader; some of his most peaceful moments in life were reading history books. Please contribute to the Free Library of Philadelphia's Foundation if you want to donate in his honor.

NOTE: Daughter Chrysantha Sophia Clark Williams (born 1975) lives in Cincinnati, OH.
