Wife's obituary: Patricia Lou “Pati” Jackson, 75, of Syracuse, IN went home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2015 in Fort Myers, FL. Pati was born on May 29, 1939 in Decatur, IN to Edward & Ozema Isch.

She was a 1957 graduate of Poling High School in Jay County, and on September 17, 1961 she married the love of her life, Thomas L. Jackson, who survives.

Pati partnered with Tom in their construction business, TL Jackson, where she was bookkeeper and office manager. Upon their retirement, Pati and Tom wintered in Fort Myers, where they bonded with friends they considered as their second family. Pati attended Lifepoint church in Goshen, IN, and she enjoyed spirited southern gospel concerts. Pati adored her children and grandchildren, and never missed an opportunity to watch and support them in their many different sporting and church events.

Pati loved life in general, she made friends wherever she went, and listened with a loving heart to all. She took advantage of every opportunity to tell those she met about Jesus, and lived the example of Christianity that she shared. Most of all, Pati enjoyed hugs and gave them freely to all.

She is survived by her husband Thomas L. Jackson, her two sons – Brad (Lynnette) Jackson of Syracuse & Bruce (Leslie) Jackson of Syracuse, grandchildren – Alex (Lakin) Jackson of Milford, Pvt. Sam (Victoria) Jackson, serving in the US Army in Germany, Ben Jackson, Luke Jackson, Elizabeth Jackson, all of Syracuse, great granddaughters – Remi and Winnie Jackson of Milford, two sisters – Jeannie (Dick) Norris of Clearwater, FL and Pauline (Don) Haines of Bluffton, IN, one brother – Paul (Anita) Isch of Pennville, IN. Pati was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary, and brothers Jim, Dick, and Tom.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 2-6 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home, in Syracuse, IN. Services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 11 AM at the North Webster Church of God, led by Pastors Jeff Boyer and Troy Scott. There will be 1 hour of visitation at the church prior to the service. Burial services will follow at the Syracuse cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to: eastlundfuneralhome.com
