Jack R. Will, age 69, of Columbia City, IN died at 2:05 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. Born on April 19, 1936 in Clevland, OH, he was the son of Lester and Dolly (Busch) Will.

A former resident of Huntington, IN, he lived in Columbia City, IN for more than 30 years. He graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1954 and he served in the United States Marines Corps from 1954-1956. He worked as a bar mananger at the VFW, Columbia City, IN for 18 years, was owner of the Tri-Lakes Quick-Mart, and a meat cutter for Kroger grocery and set up grocery divisions for K-Mart stores. He was a member of VFW Post #5582 and American Legion Post #98, Columbia City.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracy (Joe) Beeching of Columbia City, IN; a son, Brian Will of Huntington, IN; 4 grandchildren, Jeff Beeching of Alexandria, VA, Ryan and Adam Beeching of Huntington, IN, and Jessica Beeching of Columbia City, IN; 1 sister, Judy (John) Forrester of Lake Hevasu City, AZ; close friends, Beth Rawles, Bradley Malcolm, Amber, Cortney, Brittany and Ashley Harpenau as well as Holly and Robert Restemayer. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donald and Glenn Will.

A memorial service will be held at VFW Post #5582, 415 E Chicago Street, Columbia City, IN on Saturday, April 29, 2006 from 2-6 p.m with a time of sharing memories beginning at 3:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be given in Mr. Will's memory to the VFW Relief Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, Columbia City.
