Notes:	Ada R. Wood, 79, of Columbia City, IN passed away 5:07 p.m. on Friday August 29, 2014 at her residence. Born on January 9, 1935 in Columbia City, IN, she was the daughter of Ora William and Bessie E. (Zolman) Dowell. She graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1953 and then attended Parkview Methodist School of Nursing, where she graduated with the Class of 1956. Ada married Jim Wood on September 8, 1956 in Columbia City. She was a member of Mission Church, Fort Wayne and Delta Theta Tau member-at-large Ada also enjoyed reading in her free time. Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years Jim Wood of Columbia City; children Ronalyn (Rusty) Hogan of Pacific, MO and Ryan (Tina) Wood of Columbia City; grand-daughter Natosha Wood of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin sister Ida Coulter. A graveside service and burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 2, 2014 at Greenhill Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorial gifts may be given in Mrs. Wood's memory to Mission Church @ Fort Wayne. Arrangements by DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
