Notes:	Born in Noble County, Indiana to Jay & Gertrude (Leitch) Grogg. Husband's obituary: Robert K. Vaughn, 75, died Tuesday [March 8, 2011] at his home. Mr. Vaughn was born Oct. 1, 1935 in Fort Wayne, to Rodney and Rosalie (Carlson) Vaughn.. In 1953, he graduated from Kendallville High School. He worked at Joslyn Steel in Fort Wayne from 1963 until 1978. In 1979, he moved from Avilla to Shipshewana. He then managed Midwest Salvage in Shipshewana from 1978 until his retirement in 1998. He attended LaGrange First United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, woodworking and playing cards. On July 13, 1984, he married June Grogg in LaGrange. Mrs. Vaughn survives in Shipshewana. Also surviving are a daughter, Lori Vaughn of Kansas City, Kan.; a son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Stacey Vaughn of Toledo, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Debra Griffith of Howe; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Jo Ann Meade of San Antonio, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ronald and Pat Vaughn of Wolcottville, Randy and Linda Vaughn of Avilla, and Sherry Vaughn of Shipshewana; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Julie Vaughn, who died in 1988; and three brothers, Rodney Vaughn, Richard Vaughn and Rex Vaughn. Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, where funeral services will take place Friday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Chris Danielson will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange.. Memorials may be made to LaGrange First United Methodist Church..
