Notes:	Betty Marjorie (Method) Baughman, age 84, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 2:54 am Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, IN. Born June 2, 1927 in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Ralph Leo and Katherine Candice (Coyle) Pratt. She graduated with the Class of 1945 from Columbia City High School. A former resident of Euclid, OH, Albion and Muncie Lake, she lived in Whitley County the majority of her lifetime. In May, 2005 she returned to Columbia City. On September 24, 1976, she married Gene Baughman in Fort Wayne. She has been employed at Schultz Bros., The Trading Post, Fibre Form, Ion Capacitor, Montgomery Ward Catalog Office, JC Penney, Blue Bell, Inc. office and Scott's Grocery all in Columbia City. She retired in August 1989 from North American Van Lines, Fort Wayne. She was a member of Tri-Lakes Baptist Church and the Lakota Chapter. Survivors include her daughter, Katherine E. Method of Columbia City; sons, Marcus W. (Sharon) Method and Steven P. (Sue) Method both of Fort Wayne; sister, Sandra Pratt of Columbia City; and her foster family David (Peggy) Yun and Michael (Michelle) Yun both of Knoxville, TN, Lisa (Stephen) Smith and Jennifer Yun both of Atlanta, GA; 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gene Baughman. Visitation is 3-5 Thursday, June 16, 2011 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City with funeral service following at 7pm Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Siegrist and Pastor Brad Fredrickson officiating. Memorials may be given in memory of Mrs. Baughman in lieu of flowers to the Lakota Chapter. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
