Billy Eugene Langohr, age 85, of Pierceton, IN passed away at 2:05 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2008 at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, IN. Born on November 19, 1922 in Bourbon, IN, he was the son of G. Walter and Inez (Brown) Langohr.

A graduate of Columbia City High School, he also graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army.

On June 3, 1944 he married Willodean "Kit" Menzie in Columbia City, IN. In 1956, he and his wife moved from Columbia City to Pierceton, IN. A co-owner of Pierceton Lumber Company and Columbia City Builders Supply, he retired from Lake City Bank.

He attended Morris Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a member of American Legion Post #258, Pierceton, IN, 339th Fighter Group 8th Air Force, past president of the Indiana State Angus Association and he was a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Toastmasters.

Survivors include his wife, Willodean "Kit" Langohr of Pierceton, IN; children, Jeff (Vickie) Langohr, Holly (Raymond) White and Scott (Betty) Langohr all of Pierceton, IN and Craig (Susan) Langohr of Columbia City, IN; 11 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Dr. John, Richard and Dr. Robert Langohr and 2 sisters, Mary Spann and Marty Moran.

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or service. Memorials may be sent to Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, 1483 N 575 E, Warsaw, IN 46580.
