Notes:	Mary Jane Caudill, age 92, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 10:05 p.m. on Friday May 22, 2015, at Miller's Merry Manor, Columbia City. Born on July 17, 1922 in the Thorncreek Township of Columbia City, she was the daughter of Herbert W. and Mary M. (Hartzel) Kneller. Mary was a lifetime Whitley County resident. She attended Thorncreek Township grade school and later graduated from Columbia City High School, with the Class of 1940. On September 20, 1946 Mary married Jefferson D. Caudill in Plymouth, IN. Mary worked as a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN from 1967-1972 and then at Dana Corporation, Columbia City for over 14 years, until her retirement in 1987. Mary was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church and Rebecca Lodge #341. She also enjoyed craft making with the other residents at Miller's Merry Manor. Mary is survived by her son Wayne (Laura) Caudill of Columbia City and daughter Barbara (George) Vogel of Temple, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert W. and Mary M. (Hartzel) Kneller, husband Jefferson D. Caudill, daughter Patricia Dean, son Mike Caudill, brother JN "Bud" Kneller, and sister Bernice Vanderford. Funeral services for Mary will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 27, 2015 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN, with calling from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Nolt Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorial contributions in memory of Mary may be made to St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church.
