George, Paul Riddick and Phil Leininger traveled to Europe for 10 weeks in the summer of 1937 on a bicycle trip with the American Youth Hostels. Theirs was quite a novel trip in those days, and the Columbia City paper ran letters from them under the heading of "The Three Musketeers." Paul drowned the following summer.

Memorial Service held in San Antonio, Texas. Obituary in Post and Mail on July 22, 1999, Pg. 2.
