Notes:	The Truth, Elkhart, Indiana February 20, 2004: RUSSELL D. YEAGER Sept. 10, 1919-Feb. 19, 2004 MIDDLEBURY -- Russell D. Yeager, 84, of 14839 C.R. 20, died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 19, 2004) at Elkhart General Hospital after a short battle with Hamman-Rich Syndrome. He was born on Sept. 10, 1919, in Kosciusko County to Berlin and Lodema (Miller) Yeager. He married Neva J. McCuen on Feb. 27, 1938, in Kosciusko County. She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Walt (Caroline) Weldy of Wakarusa; a son, John C. of Michigan; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Schultz of Falls City, Neb. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. The 10:30 a.m. Saturday service at Mount Tabor Church of God will be officiated by the Rev. Greg Gibson, former pastor at Pleasant Ridge Missionary Church. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery. Mr. Yeager, a lifetime area resident, owned and operated Community Center Store, retiring in 1978. The 1936 graduate of Union High School, Zanesville, Ind., was a member of the church. He also attended Pleasant Ridge Missionary Church and was a member of Goshen VFW. He was an Army veteran and enjoyed woodworking. Memorials may be given to The Gideons.
