Notes:	Robert Jack Goudy, age 89, of Portage [Indiana] passed away Friday, September 02, 2016 at Millers Merry Manor in Portage. Robert was born on August 7, 1927 in Lima, Ohio, the son of the late Dewey and Minnie (nee Waldo) Goudy. On December 31, 1955 Robert married the love of his life the late Doris Ann (nee Rose) Goudy. Robert was a past member of the Portage First Church of the Nazarene and the Portage VFW. He was a retired crane operator for Local 150 and he proudly served his country in the United Sates Army Air Corp. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, bike riding, camping, traveling, the beach at sunset, and his furry companions Fluffy and the late Bandit. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. Robert is survived by his son, Jack (Bridget) Goudy of Carol Stream, Illinois; brother, Walter (Lois) Goudy of Van Wert, Ohio; sister, Bonnie Hager of Maryland; three grandchildren, Jennifer and Jamie and Jake Goudy, and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Goudy; daughter, Pamela Moffatt-Goudy; two grandchildren, Jacob Robert and Courtney Elizabeth. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Rees Funeral Home, 5341 Central Ave, Portage, Indiana 46368, with Pastor Carl Rose officiating. Interment at McCool Cemetery, Portage, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service p.m. also at Rees Funeral Home.
