Notes:	The Post and Mail, Friday, September 23, 2005: Chad A. Jones, 41,of Columbia City, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005. Born on Jan. 18, 1964, at Whitley County Memorial Hospital in Columbia City, he was a son of Richard E. and Cynthia J. (Hoffman) Jones. His formative years were spent in Columbia City and he graduated with the Class of 1983 from Columbia City Joint High School. On Oct. 26, 2000, he was united in marriage to his best friend, Linda K. (Woodcox) Krider and they have always made their home in the Columbia City area. A machinist, he had been employed at Kilgore Manufacturing since 1995. Surviving relatives include his wife, Linda; a step-daughter, Jennifer (Daniel) Cochran of Columbia City; three grandchildren; his parents, Rich and Cindy Jones of Columbia City; a brother, Craig A. Jones and a sister, Paige Harvey, both of Fort Wayne; and his in-laws, Jerry and Sonja Yagel of Columbia City. The funeral service is at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Columbia City, with Pastor Robert Crouse officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
