Notes:

James Michael Pfeiffer, 66, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Parkview Hospital. Born October 24, 1954 at Lucky Hospital in Wolf Lake, he was the son of Argyle M. and Louise E.(Mason) Pfeiffer.

Growing up on Shriner Lake, Jim enjoyed all of the lake activities and spent his entire life living on the lake. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1972. He started working for Weatherhead in Columbia City as he was finishing high school and spent his work career there, retiring from C.F. Goma. On February 8, 2000, he married Lorelei Teghtmeyer.

Jim was a hard worker, strong willed, independent, helpful and caring. He was active, worked out almost every day, and was an avid golfer. He spent many days golfing at Crooked Lake and Maxwelton Golf Club. Jim possessed the skills to work on cars and even restored his 1969 Camero that he had owned since he was in his 20s. He also was a skilled woodworker, carpenter and even built a few homes. He found relaxation being at the lake and loved spending time with his family and adored his granddaughters.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Tyson Parker; granddaughters, Alyssa Bender and Mayah Rohr; brothers, John (Yvonne) Pfeiffer, Barry Pfeiffer, Gary Pfeiffer and Randy (Mary Ann) Pfeiffer; sisters, Bonnie Pfeiffer and Susie (Fritz Ray) Fry; and former wife, Marla Bauer. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lorelei Pfeiffer on June 17, 2010; and an infant brother, Carl Pfeiffer;

Memorial visitation will be 10 to 1 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2020 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Face masks are required for attendance.

Memorial donations may be given in his memory to the Tri-Lakes Fireworks, I.C.O. Matt Bunyan.
