Notes:	Gene Harrison Andrews, 38, of Larwill, died at 10:23 p.m. at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Wash. He had been ill several weeks and was receiving treatment at the hospital for about four weeks. Mr. Andrews was born July 1, 1948, in Fort Wayne, to John Francis and Abigail Eileen Jackson Andrews. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1967 and was an automatic machine welder for Dana-Weatherhead. He was a member of the Dana-Weatherhead Pioneer Club and Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Andrews moved to Larwill nine years ago from Goose Lake where he had resided for eight years. Prior to that his life was spent in Columbia City. His marriage was on Aug. 30, 1969, to Janice Kay Parker. Surviving are his wife Janice; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Andrews of 302 S. Chauncey St., Columbia City; a brother, Michael T. Andrews of Bloomington; and his parents-in-law, Roscoe "Bud" and Alice Gaff Parker of Larwill. Obituary in Post & Mail September 19, 1986, Pg 14, and September 23, 1986, Pg 12a. Buried in Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam, Indiana. Janice passed away January 8, 2017.
