Paula J. Anders, 68, of Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away at 10:02 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at her home. Born November 29, 1948 in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Paul R. and Marjorie E. (Cullimore) Anders.

She lived most of her lifetime in Whitley County and moved to Allen County in the early 1980's. She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1967 and received an Accounting Degree at Ivy Tech. She worked for several law firms in her career and for 12 years with Haller and Colvin PC, Fort Wayne, retiring July 31, 2012.

Paula was social lady who thought that she was very funny with her goofy jokes like, "What do you do when you see a spaceman? -Park your car man" or "What's the difference between a brown cow and a green pickle? -Nothing, neither of them can ride a bike." She was a great cook and her goulash, pork chops and pot roasts will be missed.

She was a supporter of the local PBS station and the Humane Society of the United States and loved dogs. She enjoyed morel mushrooms, reading books, listening to Rock & Roll, gardening, collecting pottery and going to the beaches and playing the slot machines.

Survivors include her son, Kirby Wolfe, of Columbia City; daughter, Kelly (Jeremy) Kline, of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Mason Waggoner, Morgan Wolfe, Jacob Hosler, Zackary Hosler, Jordan Kline and Jackson Kline; brother, Gary (Mary) Anders of Newport Richey, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Anders; and former husband, Harold Wolfe.

Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Funeral Celebrant Sharon Brockhaus officiating. Burial will follow at Union Township Cemetery.
