Notes:	RICHARD H. KING JR., 78, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, at his home in Iron Mountain, Mich. He had just returned from a long-anticipated Thanksgiving visit with his daughter at her home in Maryland. Born Sept. 2, 1944, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of late Richard H. King Sr. and Rosanna P. (Hall) King. He was a proud Marine from July of 1963 through September of 1966 and served in the Vietnam War. He loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, and painting portraits of nature and wildlife. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Judy King; daughter, Katie King of Maryland; two grandchildren; son, Brian King of Hawaii; brother, Nick King of Indiana; sister, Sharon Zolman of Indiana; grandson, Skyler King; and his puppy, Duke. He was preceded in death by his son, Brett King. The family plans to do a memorial fishing trip at a later date to honor his memory. The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care provided by the Iron Mountain VA hospital. Published by Fort Wayne Newspapers on Dec. 16, 2022.
