Pauline Gay Wolfe, 73, of Cut Bank, Mont., died Saturday, May 2, 2015. Born Oct. 10, 1941 in Whitley County, one of 16 children, she was the daughter of Lawrence E. and Pearl Beatrice (Blew) Rubrake.

Pauline met Larry Wolfe when he was dating her twin sister, Ilene and she stole his heart away from her. The two had been inseparable ever since. On Oct. 22, 1960, Pauline and Larry were united in marriage in Whitley County.

During their marriage, Larry enlisted in the U.S. Air Force which allowed the couple to travel to many different locations within the United States. While stationed in North Carolina, two of their three daughters were born. Eventually they were stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base where their family was completed with daughter number three.

Later in life, Larry and Pauline moved to Cut Bank, Mont. to be near grandchildren.

During her working years, she was employed at different positions in food service.

Survivors include her husband of 54.5 years, Larry, of Cut Bank, Mont.; daughters, Paula (Charlie) Quinn, of Buckin, Mo.; Carla (Jim) Wolfe-Bartusek, of Northfield, Minn. and Terry Clark, of Ryegate, Mont.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth D., George A. and Ronald K. Rubrake, all of Columbia City and Roy E. Rubrake, of South Whitley; sisters, Treva Ott, of Alabama, Caroline Grable and Cynthia Rubrake, both of Columbia City.

In addition to a son, Paul Rubrake, she was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws; twin brothers, Jerry and Terry; brothers, Gene and Donald Rubrake; and sisters, Sue Ann Rubrake, Betty McKibben, Ilene Kreider and Jeanette A. Horrell.
