Notes:	LLOYD H. WITTE, 79, of Fort Wayne [Indiana], died on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Regency Place. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Herman and Luella Witte. He served his country in the Navy during the Korean conflict and was a member of the American Legion 241, and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. 85 and D.A.V. He was a patrol officer with the F.W.P.D and later in life worked for Dana. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Witte; sons, Ross (Robin) of Fort Wayne, Roger (Kristi) of Woodburn and Brad (Kelli) of Leo; daughter, Brenda (Matt) Moran of Leo; half brother, Don Overla of Florida; half sister, Pat Zimmerman of Arizona; and four grandchildren, Nathan, Brianna, Nicole and Meghan. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Carol. Funeral Service is 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the D.A.V.
