Notes:	Evelyn Maude Johnson, 90, of Sullivan [Illinois], passed away at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021 in Mason Point, Sullivan. Private family services will be conducted. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Sullivan Senior Center. Reed Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family at reedfuneralhome.net. Mrs. Johnson was born August 9, 1930 in Columbia City, Indiana, the daughter of Homer William and Maude Evelyn Vandersaul Trout. Evelyn retired from Brach Candy in Sullivan and later worked at the Titus Home in Sullivan. She was a member of Kindred Spirits. Evelyn married Arnold Johnson on June 5, 1954 at Indianapolis, Indiana and he preceded her in death on January 27, 1991. Survivors include her daughters Cheryl (Edwin) Righter of Sullivan and Diana (Steven) Kerfoot of Tuscon, Arizona; grandchildren Jared Righter, Kelsey Righter, Jessica Burkybile, Steven N. Kerfoot and Clinton Kerfoot; nine great grandchildren and a sister Alice Schneider of Columbia City, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister Lois Engle.
