Notes:	He was married March 13, 1968 to Carol Andrews. They lived in Columbia City, Indiana. Gardner served in Korea from September 1950-1952. He had a Bachelor of Science degree from Manchester College,1950 Master Degree in Education. School teacher at Thorncreek Center; Principal at Larwill High School; 1968 Guidance Counselor at Pierceton High School. Was Guidance Counselor at Whitco at his death. There was nothing but praise from him as a teacher and a guidance counselor to not only the students but their parents. Buried Greenhill Cemetery, CC. Obituary in CC Post 11/23/76, pg 1; 11/24/76, pg 10; 11/27/76, pg 6.
