Notes:	Catherine "Cathy" Ann (Bolyard) Thompson, 87, a resident of North Fort Myers, Fla., since 1998, formerly of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Fort Myers, Fla. She was born Aug. 27, 1928 in Columbia City, to Frank S. Bolyard and Catherine Miller Bolyard, now deceased. Cathy graduated from Columbia City High School in 1946. She was married to Marvin J. Thompson in 1948. While raising five children she worked as a bank teller and later sold Avon. She was adored by her three grandchildren and her four great-grandchildren. Cathy was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Rebekahs in Hamilton. She is survived by her four children, Rebecca Ann (Stephanie Ezell) Thompson, of Chicago, Christina Kay Thompson, of Fort Myers, Fla., William Alan (Laurie) Thompson, of Las Vegas, and Kathy Sue (Robert Montgomery) Thompson, of Charlotte, N.C.; three grandchildren, Magi (Nathan) Lay, of Avon, Chad (Jessica) Thompson, of Westfield and Chloè J. Thompson, of Las Vegas; as well as four great-grandchildren, Kadyn, Konnar, Mera and Henley; and her sister, Betty Beard, of Columbia City. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Thompson; son, Timothy W. Thompson; as well as her brother, Sterling Bolyard. The family will have grave side services in Hamilton July 24 at 1 p.m. with a meal to follow at the LBJ Hall, Hamilton. Memorial Contributions in memory of Cathy Thompson are suggested to BrightFocus Foundation for Alzheimer's research www.brightfocus.org.
