Notes:	A private graveside service will be held for Paul E. Zumbrun, 94, of Columbia City, who has left this life, and gone to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 11, 2014. He was born May 8, 1920 in Churubusco, Indiana a son of Wyland and Iva (Gump) Zumbrun. He graduated from Columbia City High School in 1938. On October 28, 1945 he was united in marriage to Evelyn M. Metzler. They resided near Columbia City for their entire married life with the exception of three years in Lenoir, North Carolina and three years in Falkirk, Scotland. Paul worked for Blue Bell Inc. for over 30 years. He served as Residence Director of English Hall at Parkview School of Nursing for 10 years. Surviving relatives include his wife of over 68 years, Evelyn M. Zumbrun; four children, Linda M. Zumbrun of Wabash, Brent E. (Brenda) Zumbrun of South Bend, Nancy Leichty of Goshen and Jane A. Zumbrun of Columbia City; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Esther Poe, Doris Van Houten and Betty Rex. Preferred memorials are to World Vision or World Missionary Press. Arrangements are being completed by Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Evelyn passed away December 11, 2015.
