Notes:	Grace J. Wilacher, 81, died Friday [June 28, 2002] at University Park Nursing Center, Fort Wayne [Indiana] Born in Logansport, she worked as a secretary for NIPSCO and was a civil service employee for the U.S. Air Force at Baer Field in Fort Wayne during World War II. In 1968, she was Whitley County clerk. She retired in 1985 from Morsches Lumber Co., in Columbia City after 13 years and was past treasurer of Whitley County Literary Council. Her husband, Delbert Dean, died in 1959. Surviving are a son, Dean D. of North Ridge, Calif.; two daughters, Carmen A. Redman of Savannah, Ga., and Tina D. Hawking of Cincinnati; and five grandchildren. Services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Calling from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial in Nolt Cemetery, Whitley County. Memorials to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Foundation. Obituary in Post & Mail June 29 & July 3, 2002, Pg 2.
