Notes:	Edith M. Burnworth, 89 Dec. 17, 1917 - Oct. 12, 2007 Edith M. Burnworth, 89, of Garrett, died at 3:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at Miller's Merry Manor in Garrett. Born in Whitley County on Dec. 17, 1917, a daughter of Clarence and Effie B. (Appleton) Judd, she graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1930. She was a lifetime resident except for a short time in Garrett. On Dec. 30, 1950, she was united in marriage to Lowell Burnworth in Columbia City. A member of Community Bible Church, she retired from Dana Corporation in Churubusco. Survivors include a step-daughter, Celia A. Bush; a step-son, Jay C. Burnworth; a sister, Wilma B. (Max) Crabill of Garrett; and a brother, Franklin L. (Ethel) Judd of New York, N.Y. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Hazel E. Judd, Eileen Moore, Elma E. Judd and Faith Karst; brothers, Ralph E., Kenneth D., Glen E., Dale, Gerald, Lester, Harold and Donald Judd. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home in Columbia City. The funeral service is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Curtiss Johnson officiating. Committal service is at Thorn Cemetery, Wolf Lake. Memorial bequests may be given in Mrs. Burnworth's memory to Heartland Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
