KATHRYN "KAY" G. MOON Born August 3, 1918, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed on May 15, 2006.

She is survived by her children, Roger D. Moon of St. Paul, MN, Jan Novak of Turnwater, WA, Nancy Moon of Colorado Springs, CO, 7 grandchildren, and sisters, Mary Kinter and Betty Coy. She is preceded in death by her husband, H. Roger Moon.
 
Kay was a home econominist with Pacific Gas and Electric Co. for over 30 years. She was an active member of P.E.O., a women's organization and the First Church of Christ Scientist in Colorado Springs, Co. and Oakland, Ca.
 
A memorial service will be held at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette, CA. on Friday June 16th, 2006 at 10:00 am.

Born in Pickering, Ohio to Mervin T. & Marie Nellie (Ruggles) Good; siblings Eleanor L. born c1917, Ardean M. born c1921, Betty G. born c1928, Robert Carlton born October 26, 1929-died August 14, 1988 Contra Costa, California and Marlene born c1937. No marriage info found.

In 1940 was working as a beautician & living in Fort Wayne, Indiana with sisters Ardean & Eleanor. Parents & younger siblings were living in Wells County, Indiana.

Listed as Kathryn Wood in her father's 1962 obituary and as deceased sister Kay Moon in 2012 obituary for sister Betty G. Coy. Social Security files for Kathryn G. Moon contain her maiden name married name and names of her parents. Buried with husband in Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette, California. Married 1944 per Findagrave.com listing.
