Notes:	Margaret M. Phillips, 93, passed away quietly at home Sunday, October 11, 2009. Born in Columbia City September 12, 1916, the daughter of Vern and Lillia Kessler, she attended Columbia City High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, watching soap operas and game shows and camping. Survivers include daughters Nancy (Earl) Wass; Janet Phillips; Shirley (Thomas) Jennings; Linda (Dean Wolfe) Phillips and Aimee Phillips (Doug Bull), all of Fort Wayne; sons Daniel (Margo) Phillips of Wolcottvill and Stephan Phillips of Fremont; step-sons David (Millie) Phillips of Fort Wayne; William T. Phillips of Fort Wayne; Dale Phillips of Greensburg, IN; and step-daughter Patricia Andrews of Plainwell, MI; four grandsons, eight great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William C. Phillips in 1993, step-son, Dennis C. Phillips, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Service is 11:00am Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, with calling one hour prior. Rev. Terry Baldwin officiating. Visitation also 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
