Liz spent her lifetime in Columbia City graduating with the Class of 1983 from Columbia City High School. She attended cosmetology training and received a Nail Tech certificate. She married Jose Martinez on March 11, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV. She was a former cook at 11th Frame Restaurant and a nail tech at Color Me Tan and Fabulous Hair & Nail, both of Columbia City. She had a deep passion for Indian history and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Jose Martinez; mother, Viola Bosserman, Columbia City; son, Joshawa Lee Nicholson, Columbia City; step-children, Ricky Augustine Martinez, Columbia City, April Renee Palma and Bridgett Holland both of New Braunfels, TX; sister, Renee L. (Kelly) Keller, Hubertus, WI; brother, William "Billy" J. Bosserman, Columbia City; and numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Willis D. Bosserman and step-children, Fabian Martinez and Tasha Farber.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2013 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Her funeral service will be at 7 p.m. immediately following visitation at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be given in her memory to the donor's choice.
