Dennis was a very quiet person, a thinker, a philosopher, a gentle being, a photographer and a gifted artist. He loved all he met and forgave as willingly as he loved. He accepted all those he encountered without judgment and prejudice.
Dennis was a "New Age" and a metaphysical thinker. He was always thoughtful and sensitive of others' needs. He bestowed kindness to all. Dennis loved unconditionally without limits or boundaries. His gentle ways of love's expression was a tribute to the heritage shown and taught to him in his childhood, growing up in the Yoder household. In the late 1970's and early 80's, Dennis founded a center for spiritual study called the "Universal Life Center", which allowed him to share and express his beliefs of life, its possibilities, and its purpose. The center allowed him the freedom and platform in which to share his spiritual philosophies that were so much a part of his life.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Connie Young. He is survived by children, Dena Rotan and Tammy Guzman; step-children, Kimberly Machacek, Sherry Yingling, and Heather Rossonn; his siblings and their families, Vincent Yoder, Larry Yoder, Sue Whittington, Jan Timmons and David Yoder; grandchildren, Juliana Rotan, Zack Rotan, Haley Cantu, and Siarra Yeargan; step-grandchildren, Austin Shane Machacek, Nikki Machacek, and Isabella Arrazola; great-grandchildren, Zaidon Pleasant and Zoe Pleasant; wife, Mortag "Marti" Baillie; and ex-wives, Charlene Adams and Barbara Yoder.

The family would like to bestow our gratitude to all his healthcare providers, especially Sugar Land Heath Care Center and The Plantation Personal Care Home for their loving care. Your kindness and compassion made a difference in Dennis's life and will always be remembered.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM, on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at The Plantation Personal Care Home, 4118 Knight Rd., Missouri City. Please join the family for a reception immediately following, where lunch will be provided. ">
